To
establish linkages among CAHNET members that will build

The report indicates that although CAHWs are highly valued by
livestock farmers especially in pastoralist areas, policies governing
their practice vary greatly by country.
Various success stories
and challenges were shared by the various organisations working
in the five countries all underscoring the essential services
provided by the CAHWs.
The workshop also received a baseline study report of a project
funded by The Wellcome Trust to, among other objectives, establish
reasons why researchers do not have or maintain contact with livestock
keepers.
